There's A Verse For That!

No matter what we face, God has given us more than enough Scripture to cover it. In each situation, we can find a Word to stand on and speak forth until we see it manifest in our lives. Here are just a few that can be used to declare and decree faith in a variety of circumstances. All verses are in the New King James Version, (NKJV), but you can use the Bible translation or version that speaks to you..

Healing/ Health:

  • He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20

  • I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Psalm 118:17

  • Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. I Peter 2:24

Finances:

  • “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18

  • Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Psalm 112:3

  • And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Fear:

  • Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

  • The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

  • For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7

Insecurity:

  • The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

Depression:

  • But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. Psalm 3:3

  • Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus II Corinthians 7:6

Protection:

  • You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7

  • He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

  • Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. Psalm 91:9-11

Hearing God:

  • But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’ Jeremiah 7:23

  • Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:5

  • My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. John 10:27

Wisdom:

  • The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. Psalm 111:10

  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes;
    Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
    Proverbs 3:5-7

  • If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

This is just a few of the many verses God has given us to overcome and win in any situation. Just personalize them and make them your own and speak them over your life. Be consistent and diligent in your confession and you will see the Word come to pass for you.
